Belarus reduces export duties on oil, petroleum products

MINSK, 2 April (BelTA) – On 1 April 2018 Belarus reduced customs duties on oil and petroleum products, which are exported beyond the customs territory of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU). The decision is laid down by the Council of Ministers’ resolution No.225 of 27 March 2018, BelTA learned from the website of the Belarusian government.

The export duty on crude oil was reduced from $119.5 to $111.4 per tonne. The export duty on straight-run gasoline was cut down from $65.7 to $61.2 per tonne, with the export duty on commercial gasoline going down from $35.8 to $33.4 per tonne.

The export duty on light and medium distillates made up $33.4 per tonne, down from $35.8. The same rate is applied to diesel fuel, benzene, toluene, xylene, lubricants, and other oils.

The export duties on crude oil and some categories of derivative oil products were previously revised on 1 March.
