Belarus ready to step up machinery exports to Serbia

MINSK, 26 January (BelTA) – Belarus is ready to boost the supplies of a wide range of machinery and equipment to Serbia, Belarusian Prime Minister Andrei Kobyakov told reporters after his meeting with Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic on 26 January, BelTA has learned.

For instance, Belarus can offer to Serbia passenger vehicles: MAZ buses, trolleybuses and electric buses. There are good prospects for increasing the supplies of mining and construction equipment.

Andrei Kobyakov said that the talks were frank and open. The parties signed a roadmap for the development of cooperation in 2017 and 2018 and a set of documents on bilateral cooperation in military affairs, healthcare, sport and tourism, and interregional cooperation.

“The roadmap will be a fundamental element of the bilateral cooperation in different areas for the near future. These agreements are designed to improve the legal framework of our collaboration and outline new areas of interaction in the mentioned fields. Belarus and Serbia are reliable partners, and we have good prospects for advancing our cooperation,” Andrei Kobyakov emphasized.
