Belarus raises export duties on oil, oil products

MINSK, 1 December (BelTA) – Belarus has raised export duties on oil and oil products, which are exported beyond the customs territory of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU). The Council of Ministers issued relevant resolution No.830 on 30 November 2022, BelTA learned from the national legal information registry.

In line with the resolution the size of the export duty on crude oil, furnace oil, oil bitumen, petrolatum, paraffin, and waste oils is now $43.3 per tonne ($42.7 previously). The export duty on straight-run gasoline now stands at $23.8 per tonne ($23.4 previously). The size of the export duty on commercial gasoline, diesel fuel, light and middle distillates, benzene, toluene, xylene, lubricants equals $12.9 per tonne ($12.8 previously).

The resolution came into force on 1 December.
