MINSK, 26 January (BelTA) – Belarus has plans to create mutual trade promotion systems with six countries in 2016, Chairman of Belarus’ State Customs Committee Yuri Senko told journalists on 26 January, BelTA has learned.
“To improve the efficiency and effectiveness of customs operations in 2016, we have decided to create mutual trade promotion systems with Turkey, Slovakia, Italy, Poland, Lithuania, and China,” Yuri Senko said.
In his words, there is a considerable progress in the creation of mutual trade promotion systems with these countries. “Our trade with the enumerated countries is rapidly growing, and we need to eliminate some formalities. We are moving towards mutual exchange of information that will help us minimize the time spent on checking and verification procedures on our side and on the other side of the border. That is, all the operations will be conducted on a mutual basis,” Yuri Senko explained.
