Belarus participates in Chinese food expo

MINSK, 16 June (BelTA) - Belarus took part in the 24th China (Guangzhou) International Nutrition Healthy Food and Organic Products Expo 2025, held in Guangzhou, Guangdong Province on 12-14 June, the Belarusian diplomatic mission in Guangzhou told BelTA.

Participating in the exhibition were the Consulate General of Belarus in Guangzhou and Minsk Dairy Plant No. 1. Belarusian diplomats showcased the export and investment potential of the country's agro-industrial sector.

During the event, direct negotiations were conducted with interested Chinese representatives regarding the distribution of Belarusian dairy products in regional retail networks.

The consular district covers four Chinese provinces (Guangdong, Guizhou, Hainan, and Hunan) and the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, with a total population of approximately 332 million people (about 23% of China's population). Guangzhou, the central city of the district, has around 14 million residents. One of the key objectives of the Belarusian Consulate General in Guangzhou is to develop trade, economic, and investment relations with Chinese regions.
