MINSK, 21 November (BelTA) – The National Agency of Investment and Privatization of Belarus and the Development Corporation of the Republic of Karelia, Russian Federation have reached an agreement on cooperation, BelTA has learned.
NAIP Deputy Director Aleksei Pushkarev and Director General of the Development Corporation of the Republic of Karelia Viktor Rymashevsky held negotiations on 20 November. Viktor Rymashevsky came to Minsk as a part of the delegation of the Karelia government’s Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs Oleg Yermolayev.

The parties exchanged their experience of looking for and supporting investors, of preparing investment offers and discussed topical trends in the field of investment. An agreement on cooperation between the two agencies was signed.
A business forum also took place in Minsk on 20 November to highlight new opportunities for Karelia and regions of Belarus. The National Agency of Investment and Privatization of Belarus had helped organize the forum.
