MINSK, 2 August (BelTA) – Belarus and Mongolia are building up industrial cooperation. The matter was discussed as Belarusian Industry Minister Andrei Kuznetsov met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Mongolia Dmitry Gorelik, the Industry Ministry press service told BelTA.

Directors of the largest holding companies accountable to the Industry Ministry took part in the negotiations.

The meeting focused on fulfilling the agreements reached when a Belarusian delegation visited Ulaanbaatar in February 2025 with a view to advancing trade and economic cooperation between Belarus and Mongolia.

Participants of the meeting discussed current accomplishments and plans to expand economic ties between Belarus and Mongolia. The heads of the enterprises presented reports on progress in organizing deliveries of agricultural machines, trucks, and equipment, grain-cleaning and drying complexes, on progress in setting up assembly facilities.

The industry minister stressed the importance of putting more efforts into joint projects and initiatives in the industrial sphere while the Belarusian ambassador to Mongolia expressed readiness to assist the Belarusian enterprises with penetrating the Mongolian market and with implementing joint projects.
