Belarus keen to develop ties with Azerbaijan in agriculture

MINSK, 15 May (BelTA) - Belarus is keen to develop ties with Azerbaijan in agriculture and to promote industrial cooperation, Belarus Deputy Prime Minister Igor Lyashenko discussed these issues as he visited Azerbaijan on a working trip, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian government.

On 15 May, Igor Lyashenko attended the international Caspian Agro 2019 Expo in Baku. More than 200 companies from 25 countries are showcasing their traditional products and a number of new goods in various sectors of agriculture. Belarusian national expo at the Caspian Agro is one of the largest among the participating countries.

Interaction in agriculture is one of the priority avenues of cooperation between Belarus and Azerbaijan. Over the years the Caspian Agro has proved to be an important platform for promoting Belarusian interests in the Azerbaijani agriculture market.

Igor Lyashenko attended a ceremony to launch a new assembly line at Ganja Automobile  Plant. The grain harvester КЗС-575 Palesse GS575 and electric bus E-321 rolled off the assembly line.
