Belarus invited to join Myanmar’s industrialization projects

MINSK, 21 October (BelTA) - Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Vladimir Borovikov presented his credentials to Chairman of the State Administration Council, Prime Minister and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, Senior General Min Aung Hlaing, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The parties confirmed the countries’ considerable potential for enhancing bilateral cooperation in various sectors.

According to Min Aung Hlaing, Belarus is a strategic partner for Myanmar. He expressed hope that Belarus would take part in the implementation of the government's ambitious plans to industrialize the country and mechanize agriculture.

Chairman of the State Administration Council Min Aung Hlaing conveyed his wishes for the health and success to the Belarusian leadership and for peace and prosperity to the Belarusian people.
