Belarus, Indonesia to discuss business, trade cooperation prospects

MINSK, 15 October (BelTA) – Belarus and Indonesia will discuss cooperation prospects for business and trade during an online conference on 21 October, BelTA learned from the press service of the National Center for Marketing and Price Study of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The video conference will focus on the Indonesian consumer goods market and details which foreign companies need to take into account while mulling over supplies to the country. Goods for children, home textiles, food products (diary, tinned and grocery products), pet food, and medications are in great demand in Indonesia. Cosmetics is also very popular on the market.

Taking part in the video conference will be Indonesian companies interested in promoting their products to the EAEU market and also potential importers of Belarusian products.

The video conference will take place on the Zoom platform. The working language is English. The National Center for Marketing and Price Study invites Belarusian companies to take part.

The event is organized by the National Center for Marketing and Price Study jointly with Indonesia Trade, Tourism and Investment Club.

Indonesia demonstrates a stable economic growth at the level of 5% a year and is among the pop 20 largest economies. The country also has one of the world’s largest domestic markets.
