MINSK, 20 August (BelTA) - A seminar on the mechanism for implementing pilot projects was held at Belarus’ Hi-Tech Park (HTP), bringing together representatives from the public sector and HTP resident companies, BelTA learned from the park's press service.

Head of the HTP Supervisory Board Secretariat Anna Ryabova emphasized the importance of aligning positions between developers of IT solutions and customers from the public sector. “We aim to create a platform for open and trusting discussion of pressing issues. Having worked with both sides, we understand that every problem must be heard,” she said.

Deputy Communications and Informatization Minister Yuliya Shapkina also highlighted the significance of the meeting's topic, adding that the questions raised indicate the work is becoming more substantive and results-oriented. She also expressed hope for continued collaboration: “It is our desire that we walk this path together and try to build an optimal way of working to promote IT products in the Belarusian market.”

The presentation segment of the seminar was followed by a Q&A session. Park residents actively engaged with representatives from HTP and the Communications and Informatization Ministry, discussing project piloting mechanisms, funding issues, contractor selection, application procedures, and offering their own ideas and vision for improving these processes.

The seminar marked an important step in implementing the instructions of the Belarusian prime minister to intensify the adoption of advanced IT solutions in traditional economic sectors, which will contribute to the further development of the country's technological environment.

The event was attended by leadership and specialists from the HTP Supervisory Board Secretariat, the Belarusian Communications and Informatization Ministry, the Center for Digital Development, Giprosvyaz, and also representatives of resident companies.
