Belarus’ exposition at China International Import Expo to cover 500 square meters

MINSK, 10 April (BelTA) – Belarus’ exposition at China International Import Expo will span an area of 500 square meters, BelTA learned from the National Center for Marketing and Price Study at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus.

Belarus’ national expo in the zone of country pavilions will occupy 160 square meters. It will span 500 square meters in the zone designed for business. Plans are in place to organize a Belarus-China business forum during the expo,” stated the source.

The Belarusian participation at China International Import Expo is highly promising from the point of view of promotion of Belarusian goods to the markets of China and other countries. China is interested in cooperation with Belarusian industrial and science-technology enterprises, as well as with the educational institutions. Promising is the interaction with the innovations centers which cater to oil and mining industries, power engineering, automobiles and rail transport, building materials and facilities, agriculture and biotechnology.

China International Import Expo will be held in the National Exhibition and Conference Center in Shanghai. It will be attended by more than 1,600 companies from over 120 countries. Over 150,000 specialists are expected to attend the event.

The organizer of Belarus’ national expo is the National Center for Marketing and Price Study.

The hosts of China International Import Expo are the Ministry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China and the Shanghai Municipal People's Government

Supporters are the World Trade Organization, the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development, the United Nations Industrial Development Organization and others.
