Belarus, EU delegation discuss trade, economic cooperation

MINSK, 19 September (BelTA) – Access of Belarusian goods to the European market was in focus of a meeting between First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Andrei Yeudachenka and Head of the European Union's Delegation to Belarus Dirk Schuebel, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

“The parties discussed key areas of trade and economic cooperation between Belarus and the European Union, including access of Belarusian products to the European market, attracting investment, and Belarus’ accession to the World Trade Organization,” the ministry said.

Earlier this week, Dirk Schuebel met with Belarus Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Oleg Kravchenko to discuss future steps to enhance Belarus-EU cooperation and exchange opinions about important matters on the international agenda, the ministry noted.
