Belarus, Dagestan expand cooperation in light industry

MINSK, 31 August (BelTA) - Belarus and Dagestan are expanding cooperation in the light industry. The matter was discussed during an online meeting with the participation of Chairperson of the Belarusian state light industry concern Bellegprom Tatiana Lugina and Deputy Chairperson of the Government of Dagestan Rizvan Gazimagomedov, BelTA learned from the press service of Bellegprom.

The focus of the meeting was on the results of bilateral cooperation. This included supplies of school uniforms from the Polesie company and new joint projects.

The Bellegprom chairperson also invited Dagestani partners to Minsk for the BelTexIndustry 2025 exhibition, which is due to take place on 8-10 October.

BTI is a major industry exhibition. Each year, collections for the upcoming season are presented by more than 80 exhibitors from Belarus, Türkiye, Russia, Uzbekistan, and China. The exhibition's business program includes specialized seminars, business meetings with the participation of heads of leading enterprises, trade and media representatives, company presentations, and clothing and footwear collection.
