Belarus’ consul general, Chinese partners discuss Great Stone development prospects

MINSK, 10 December (BelTA) – On 8 December Consul General of Belarus in Guangzhou Andrei Popov visited the city of Shenzhen at the invitation of Director General of Great Stone Industrial Park Development Company Yan Gang, BelTA learned from the Belarusian Consulate General in Guangzhou.

“Negotiations were held with Chairman of China Merchants Shekou Industrial Zone Holdings Co Ltd. Yong Jun Xu as well as with Assistant General Manager of China Merchants Group Li Yadong. The parties discussed promising areas of development of the China-Belarus Industrial Park Great Stone, common approaches and further joint steps to promote it with the participation of China Merchants in the provinces of the consular district of the Consulate General of Belarus in Guangzhou,” the statement reads.

The Belarusian diplomat also visited the Shenzhen-based biotechnology company GeneMind Biosciences Co., Ltd that is considering a possibility to become a resident company of the Great Stone park. The parties discussed the capacities of the industrial park and its main competitive advantages in the Eurasian region.
