MINSK, 20 December (BelTA) – Belarus and Chinese company CITIC Construction Co., Ltd. have discussed joint projects for 2018, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian government.

Belarus’ Deputy Prime Minister Anatoly Kalinin held a meeting with head of the representative office of CITIC Construction Co., Ltd. Zhang Zhao.

The vice premier was updated on the projects the Chinese company implemented in Belarus in 2017. Among them was the completion of the construction of the BelGee car factory, the second stage of the technical upgrading of the Orsha Flax Mill, the construction of a multi-purpose center in Minsk and the joint design and engineering company CITIC-Belprom.

The Chinese company also talked about the plans for 2018 on new projects which contracts were signed. The parties discussed other promising areas of cooperation.

A decision was taken to hold a meeting in the Belarusian government in January 2018 with the participation of representatives of CITIC Construction Co., Ltd.
