Belarus’ best exporters 2024 announced in Minsk

Belarus’ best exporters 2024 announced in Minsk

MINSK, 31 July (BelTA) – Nineteen enterprises were named winners of the Best Exporter of 2024 national contest. The winners were announced by Chairman of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BelCCI) Mikhail Myatlikov during an awards ceremony in Minsk, BelTA has learned.

This year’s competition saw a record number of finalists and winners – 185. Their combined contribution to the country’s export revenue in 2024 exceeded $10 billion, accounting for 21% of Belarus’ total exports. Among them, 19 winners across 17 categories directly generated over $5 billion in exports, averaging more than $100,000 per employee – a figure highlighted by Mikhail Myatlikov as proof of their exceptional performance.

“Winners were selected based on total export volume, export value per employee, global market reach, and the presence of independent distribution networks abroad. The winners across 17 categories supplied products to 113 countries – an outstanding achievement for just 19 enterprises. We value and take pride in them,” said the BelCCI head.

The BelCCI actively promotes these top exporters at business forums and on its website. “We also introduce them to our international partners,” Mikhail Myatlikov added.

The Best Exporter awards ceremony is traditionally held during the seminar with heads of diplomatic missions. “This gives exporters a unique opportunity to engage with ambassadors in an informal setting, review cooperation outcomes, and establish new contacts,” he noted.

Foreign Minister Maksim Ryzhenkov emphasized that Belarusian companies hold up well despite the sanctions, successfully marketing goods and services while advancing national interests in most distant markets. “I’m well aware of the efforts by our exporters, ministries, government agencies, and ambassadors to meet today’s economic challenges,” he said, citing “remarkable results” of Belarusian companies in the first half of 2025.

Maksim Ryzhenkov concluded by reading a welcoming address from Prime Minister Aleksandr Turchin.
