Belarus’ Amkodor to ship machinery to Algeria

MINSK, 18 April (BelTA) - The Belarusian mechanical engineering company Amkodor plans to supply machinery to Algeria. This as well as other issues were discussed during the visit of the Algerian delegation led by the Minister for Agriculture and Rural Development Youcef Cherfa, BelTA learned from Amkodor’s press service.

The Algerian delegation got familiar with the modern lineup of the Amkodor machinery at the company’s permanent exhibition. Special attention was paid to agricultural machines that can be adapted to the climatic and operational conditions of the African region.

The parties discussed possible prospects for cooperation in agricultural engineering. The representatives of Algeria were particularly interested in silos as an element of complex solutions for grain storage and processing. Possible formats of cooperation on equipment supply were discussed.

The visit confirmed the interest of both parties in the development of business ties and opened new horizons for mutually beneficial partnership between Belarus and Algeria, Amkodor’s press service.
