Amkodor to ship $20m machinery to non-CIS countries in 2018

MINSK, 24 May (BelTA) - The Belarusian mechanical engineering company Amkodor plans to sell $20 million worth of machinery to non-CIS countries in 2018, BelTA learned from Leonid Pinchuk, Head of Amkodor's CIS and Non-CIS Sales Office.

“This year’s sales plan envisages $20 million worth of supplies to non-CIS states. I can say that this plan is feasible and can be even over-fulfilled,” Leonid Pinchuk said.

In 2017 the company started exporting its machinery to a number of new markets. “We have advanced to the market of Turkey where we have already shipped snow-clearing vehicle. We have been gradually expanding the lineup of deliveries. We have also advanced to the markets of the UAE, Congo, Egypt and Sudan,” Leonid Pinchuk said.

This year the company plans to launch deliveries to Zimbabwe. “We expect prepayment in June. The batch will comprise about 30 units of equipment, including road construction equipment and forestry machinery,” said Leonid Pinchuk.

At present, Amkodor exports its machinery to more than 45 countries.

The industrial group Amkodor comprises 29 enterprises, including 19 factories that make over 120 models and modifications of machines and vehicles for agribusiness, road construction, utilities industry, forestry industry, production sector, and logistics.
