Agreement on LED products subpark at Great Stone signed in China
MINSK, 19 January (BelTA) – An agreement on setting up a subpark to make light-emitting-diode (LED) products at the Chinese-Belarusian Industrial Park Great Stone has been signed in China, BelTA learned from the Belarusian embassy in Beijing.
The document was signed during the visit of the Belarusian delegation led by Minsk Oblast Vice Governor Viktor Sirenko to Guangzhou, Guangdong Province.
On 18 January the Belarusian delegation met with Guangdong Province Vice Governor He Zhongyou to discuss the development of twinning relations. The talks resulted in the signing of the agreement on a LED products subpark at the Great Stone.
The signing ceremony took place as part of the opening ceremony of the International Lighting Festival organized by the Administration of Guangdong Province and the Lighting Industry Association.
Apart from that, according to the protocol signed between Belarus’ Mingorsvet and the Lighting Industry Association of Guangdong Province, the parties are expected to hold a joint festival of light and an exhibition fair of lighting equipment in Minsk in September 2017.
