GRODNO, 23 April (BelTA) – Over 1,500 bikers will gather in Grodno for the 10th international Rock and Bike Festival, BelTA learnt from one of its organizers Sergei Bertel.

The festival will take place in Grodno and Grodno District on 25-26 April. The annual meeting gathers representatives of bike clubs and rock musicians of Belarus and other countries. This year Grodno will host bikers from Poland, Russia, Lithuania, Ukraine, Latvia, Estonia, and Kazakhstan. According to Sergei Bertel, many bikers cover thousands of kilometers to arrive in Grodno. They come from Moscow, Samara, Tolyatti. Once the Grodno Rock and Bike Festival was attended by a biker from Norway.

This year the main venue of the festival will be the tourist base Khimik near the village of Ozery, Grodno District. The program of the festival will include an interactive theme platform, sales of music and biker attributes, performances by the reenactment club Aridan, the plastic theater InZhest, numerous rock concerts. On 26 April bikers accompanied by the road police will drive along the streets of the oblast center. An exhibition of motor transport will be on display on Sovetskaya Square.

The international Rock and Bike Festival is one of Grodno’s brands. The parade of bikers and the exhibition of vintage motorcycles draw crowds every year.
