GRODNO: Get immersed into the Christmas spirit in the streets of the most beautiful and unique Belarusian city

Grodno is indeed a special city, an architectural treasure with charming neighborhoods of historic buildings, the only royal residence with two castles that have survived till the present days, and the most multiethnic center with the biggest number of temples of different religions. The centuries-old Kalozha Church of Sts. Boris and Gleb, which is still operational, is one of the most remarkable landmarks. The city also boasts the first in the country chemist’s shop, medical academy, botanical gardens, zoo, and Europe's oldest working tower clock. The Augustow Canal, one of the largest and oldest hydraulic engineering installations in Europe, is located not far from Grodno. The city is inspiring any time of the year, and it will certainly give the best impressions to all those who choose to visit it during the Christmas and New Year holidays. By the way, since the autumn of 2016, tourists do not need a Belarusian visa to visit Grodno for a couple of days.
