Firefighters’ Day celebrations in Gorky Park in Minsk

Guards of honor of Belarus’ Civil Protection University gave a top-notch performance. Belarusian rescuers demonstrated the capacities of the brand new watercraft of the Emergencies Ministry.

Another highlight was an exhibition of rescue vehicles, from old-time horse-drawn barrels with water to present-day models of emergency vehicles. The program of the event also featured performances by paratroopers, special operations to show how to rescue drowning and burning people, and fireworks made from colorful smoke bombs.
