MINSK, 3 May (BelTA) - Vanessa Kolodinskaya of Belarus has won gold at the European Wrestling Championships in Novi Sad, Serbia, BelTA has learned.

The Belarusian claimed the -53kg champion title after beating Iulia Leorda of Moldova, Angela Dorogan of Azerbaijan, Maria Prevolaraki of Greece, and Russia’s Natalia Malysheva. The winner was awarded by three-time Olympic freestyle wrestling champion Alexander Medved of Belarus.

In 2012 Vanessa Kolodinskaya won the champion title in the -48kg weight category.
