Lukashenko congratulates Xi Jinping on reelection as China’s Communist Party leader

MINSK, 25 October (BelTA) – Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko has congratulated General Secretary of the Communist Party of China, President of the People’s Republic of China Xi Jinping on the successful conclusion of the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China and reelection as the general secretary, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.

“The results of the congress have demonstrated the enhancement of the positions of China, big achievements of the Chinese people in the past five years under the leadership of the Communist Party of China in the social and economic development, science, and culture,” the message of greetings reads. “Our country appreciated your Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era. I am convinced that you model of development relying on the loyalty to the initial idea and the aspiration to move forward will be interesting for other countries.”

“In the spirit of brotherly relations, joint promotion of the efforts to build the community with common fate, the Republic of Belarus wants to celebrate the conclusion of the historical 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China and make a present to the people of China. We are ready to welcome Chinese children for recuperation in Belarusian health resorts and institutions on a free of charge basis in 2018. Children are our main legacy,” the head of state remarked.

Alexander Lukashenko wished Xi Jinping every success as the leader of the biggest political party in the world, unity of its members, strong health and happiness. He also wished the people of China peace and prosperity.
