Belarus president spends over five hours on press conference for Russian media

MINSK, 17 October (BelTA) – The press conference of Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko for Russian regional mass media lasted for more than five and a half hours, BelTA informs.

Journalists asked about 30 questions relating to the socio-economic development of Belarus, the Belarusian-Russian cooperation in various fields, integration in the Union State and the Eurasian Economic Union, Ukraine and other important topics.

The press conference was attended by more than 100 media representatives from 50 regions of the Russian Federation. The press conference was preceded by the 12th press tour of Russian journalists around Belarus. This time they became acquainted with the socio-economic development of Vitebsk Oblast.
