Union State Supreme State Council session agenda to include over 10 issues

MINSK, 18 January (BelTA) – The agenda of the Union State Supreme State Council session will include over 10 issues concerning all activities of the Union State. The issue was discussed at the meeting between Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko and State Secretary of the Union State Grigory Rapota on 18 January, BelTA has learned.

Grigory Rapota told reporters that the Supreme State Council session will take place in February-March; 12 issues have been included in the agenda so far.

According to the State Secretary of the Union State, certain adjustments can be made during the preparations for the event, but, perhaps, these adjustments will be minor. “These issues embrace the entire spectrum of the Union State activities,” he said.

The session will focus on the approval of the 2016 Union State budget, the implementation of the 2015 budget. The participants of the Supreme State Council session will discuss the progress in the trade and economic cooperation taking into account all the factors that have an impact on the development of this field, the foreign policy cooperation in the past two years. The participants of the session will pass the program of interaction for the next two years.
