MINSK, 27 April (BelTA) – Belarus welcomes the organization of the inter-Korean summit, BelTA learned from the relevant statement made by the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The document reads: “The entire international community, including the Republic of Belarus, closely follows today’s meeting of President of the Republic of Korea Moon Jae-in and Chairman of the State Affairs Commission of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea Kim Jong-un. Belarus welcomes the organization of the inter-Korean summit and efforts of the two countries to bolster peace and stability in the region.”
The Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs hopes that today’s meeting will become the foundation for further advancement of the dialogue on peace and security in the Korean Peninsula and that the peace initiatives on denuclearization, which are being discussed, will be supported by all the parties involved and by the international community.
