MINSK, 2 October (BelTA) – Since the start of the year, Belarus has welcomed 340 947 residents of the neighboring EU states, BelTA learned from the State Border Committee of Belarus.
This included 207,745 citizens of Lithuania, 78,045 citizens and 24,014 non-citizens of Latvia, and 31,143 Polish citizens.
Some 725,933 people from the neighboring EU countries have visited Belarus since the launch of the visa-waiver program, including 456,008 citizens of Lithuania, 50,893 non-citizens and 166,179 citizens of Latvia, and 52,853 Polish citizens.
