MINSK, 4 December (BelTA) – Belarus’ Ambassador to Turkey Viktor Rybak visited Istanbul on 1-3 December, BelTA learned from the diplomatic mission of Belarus in Turkey.
“Meetings were held with the senior management of BNH Petrokimya, that is part of the distribution network of the Belneftekhim concern in Turkey, as well as with dealers of Belarusian petrochemical products in this country,” the statement reads.
During the meetings and talks in Istanbul, the parties reviewed supplies of petrochemical products from Belarus to Turkey in 2020, and discussed a possibility to increase shipments in 2021.
Diplomatic relations between Belarus and Turkey were established on 25 March 1992. The Embassy of the Republic of Turkey was opened in Minsk in 1992, the Embassy of Belarus opened in Ankara in 1997.
