Prodexpo 2023 kicks off in Minsk

Prodexpo 2023 kicks off in Minsk

MINSK, 14 November (BelTA) – The international food show Prodexpo 2023 opened in Minsk on 14 November, BelTA has learned.

“The exhibition kicked off to mark the Day of Agricultural and Processing Industry Workers. Our farmers have something to be proud of. We will see their products on the stands. Despite the international events, Belarus supplies its products to more than 100 countries. Our products are recognizable and in demand. I hope that Belarusian enterprises will be able to sign good supply contracts during the event,” Deputy Agriculture and Food Minister Vladimir Grakun said.

In his words, the products of other countries - participants of the exhibition - will also be on display. “I think that these products will take their rightful place on the Belarusian store shelves,” the deputy minister added.

Minsk First Vice Mayor Nadezhda Lazarevich believes that all the products presented at the exhibition will be in great demand. “We are glad that the exhibition is held in Minsk. All our guests from friendly countries will get great pleasure from communication with our consumers, and we will be glad to try their products. Prodexpo is traditionally very popular with residents and guests of the Belarusian capital,” Nadezhda Lazarevich said.

The international food show Prodexpo 2023 is taking place in Minsk on 14-17 November. For more than two decades, the exhibition has been introducing advanced production technologies in the food industry, promoting new brands, saturating the domestic market with quality food and beverages, promoting international cooperation and exchange of experience between leading food manufacturers. This year the forum features 126 participants from five countries. These are enterprises from Belarus, Russia, Uzbekistan, Vietnam and Turkmenistan. The exhibition program will include business events to discuss problems and prospects for the food industry market development, and also negotiations between retailers, suppliers and manufacturers. The exhibition will host tasting contests, an international symposium of bakers, a culinary cup and many more.
