MINSK, 29 February (BelTA) - Minsk Motor Plant (MMZ trademark) sells to 24 countries, BelTA learned from the press service of the enterprise.

“All obligations to supply products to foreign markets have been fulfilled. Export growth amounted to 14.4% compared to 2022. In the export structure, all major groups of goods, including motors, special equipment, spare parts, show good figures,” the enterprise said.

MMZ sells its products to 24 countries, including the Russian Federation, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan, Czech Republic, Bulgaria, Germany, Hungary, Lithuania, Pakistan, Poland, Zimbabwe, Vietnam, Mongolia, South Africa, Türkiye and others.

The share of regions in export shipments looks as follows: Russia - 87.5%; CIS countries, excluding Russia - 7.9%; non-CIS - 4.6%.

“The commodity distribution network of Minsk Motor Plant is widely developed, with business interests lying within CIS countries as well as promising markets of Africa, Asia, and Latin America,” the enterprise said.

Last year MMZ expanded its distribution network in promising markets by concluding new dealer contracts with companies in the Russian Federation, Kyrgyzstan, Azerbaijan and Bulgaria. The companies specialize in supplying motors and spare parts for agricultural machinery.

MMZ products are expanding their presence in Kazakhstan. A large warehouse of original spare parts and special machinery was set up at the Trading House in Astana to provide consumers with quality products.

A contract was signed with a Hungarian company and a pilot batch of motors was delivered to produce special machinery there. After receiving the certificate for the products, the company is ready to continue cooperation.

As part of the dieselization project, a batch of 60 engines was delivered to Turkmenistan.

In order to expand sales of products to the primary market, the Belarusian motor manufacturer is developing assembly production of diesel engines in Kazakhstan. Negotiations are underway to localize the production of special vehicles with MMZ engines in Uzbekistan.

Minsk Motor Plant specializes in the development, design and manufacture of modern three-, four-, six- and eight-cylinder engines. The company produces more than 100 modifications of engines ranging from 7 to 330 kW, designed for agricultural, road-building and harvesting equipment, trucks and buses, power plants, compressors and other units. Minsk Motor Plant engines are supplied to enterprises in Belarus, CIS and non-CIS countries.
