Minsk, Bangalore to expand cooperation in several areas

MINSK, 16 March (BelTA) - Minsk and Bangalore will expand cooperation in several areas, BelTA learned from the Telegram channel “Minsk. Officially”.

Minsk Major Vladimir Kukharev met with India's Ambassador to the Republic of Belarus Sangeeta Bahadur to discuss ways of expanding cooperation between Minsk and Bangalore. The Indian side is interested in working in such areas as education, tourism, economy and joint ventures, and the Belarusian side is interested in IT, business and industry.

The parties agreed to expand educational opportunities in technical specialties and information technology in Belarus for students from India.

India Week might be held in Minsk in September and will feature a cultural program, a film festival and a presentation of the economic potential of the Belarusian capital for Indian guests.
