Kobyakov praises Adani as an exemplary sci-tech company

MINSK, 8 August (BelTA) - Adani company shows an example of how the scientific and industrial sector should develop, the head of the Belarus President’s Administration, Andrei Kobyakov, said during a visit to the company which produces security X-ray systems and medical X-ray scanners, BelTA has learned.

Adani is a unique company with a history. It is important that it has been growing, showing an example of how the scientific and industrial sector should develop. The ratio of employees in the company is as follows: 80% are physicists, engineers, IT specialists, 20% are operating staff,” said Andrei Kobyakov.

He stressed that all goods made by Adani have been included in the import substitution program. "It produces equipment that is needed, above all, in the healthcare sector of the country. The well-known mobile and stationary "Pneumo-scanners" are made by this company. The company makes the equipment that is used to ensure security at many facilities of Belarus," noted Andrei Kobyakov.

In turn, the Director of Adani Professor Vladimir Linev said that at this time the company is busy expanding its production capacity. A new innovative and production complex will come on stream next year.

Founded in 1991, the company manufactures medical x-ray equipment, security systems and analytical instruments. Now the company produces about 40 kinds of high-tech equipment, 85% of which is exported. Scanners are delivered to more than 60 countries, including the United States, China, the European Union and Africa. The company employs about 350 people.
