MINSK, 1 November (BelTA) – The Great Stone Industrial Park has launched a platform to service China-Europe container trains of the Chang'an flight, BelTA learned from the press service of the park.
The ceremony took place at the trade and logistics sub-park of the Great Stone resident China Merchants CHN-BLR Commerce and Logistics. A number of cooperation agreements were signed as part of the ceremony.
Attending to the event was Secretary of the Xi'an Municipal Party Committee Fang Hongwei, the management of Xi'an International Port Zone, Sinotrans Overseas Development Co., Ltd. and the industrial park, as well as managers and representatives of Belarusian logistics companies and organizations.
In January-August 2023 the number of trains on the China-Europe route reached 3,477, with an average annual growth rate of about 30%. Container transportation along this route is one of the main areas of activity of China Merchants CHN-BLR Commerce and Logistics.
The China-Belarus Industrial Park Great Stone is a special economic zone with a special legal regime. It is located 25km away from Minsk. The park’s priority development areas include mechanical engineering, electronics and telecommunications, biotechnologies, pharmaceutics, new materials, logistics, digital commerce, big data storage and processing.
