Great Stone Park, China’s Chongqing discuss cooperation prospects

MINSK, 9 August (BelTA) - Representatives of the China-Belarus industrial park Great Stone and China’s Chongqing discussed the prospects of cooperation in investment, logistics, trade and industry, BelTA learned from the press service of the Great Stone Park.

The delegation from Chongqing included leaders of the Standing Committee of the People's Congress, members of relevant agencies, district offices and enterprise managers.

During a visit to the showroom of the innovation center, the Chinese delegation, accompanied by the leadership of the Administration and the Industrial Park Development Company, got familiar with the park’s history, preferential treatment, investment environment and priority areas of activity. The Chinese delegation also held talks with representatives of the park.

The parties discussed the prospects of cooperation in the investment, logistics, trade and industrial sectors within the industrial park.

The China-Belarus Industrial Park Great Stone is a special economic zone with a special legal regime. It is located 25km away from Minsk. The park’s priority development areas include mechanical engineering, electronics and telecommunications, biotechnologies, pharmaceutics, new materials, logistics, digital commerce, big data storage and processing.
