Beltamozhservice to attend China International Import Expo

MINSK, 4 November (BelTA) – The Belarusian national logistics operator Beltamozhservice is set to take part in the 6th China International Import EXPO, which is to be held in Shanghai on 5-10 November, BelTA learned from the press service of Beltamozhservice.
“China is the center of world trade, so participation in the largest international forum in Shanghai is of strategic importance for our enterprise. Since the volumes of export-import transportation between Belarus and China are growing, transport and logistics services of Beltamozhservice, our experience and own best practices are in great demand. We intend to expand the opportunities for cooperation with China and are ready to implement the most ambitious projects on cargo deliveries from Belarus to China and from China to Belarus,” Beltamozhservice First Deputy Director General Aleksandr Skachkovsky said.
In Shanghai, Beltamozhservice will display multimodal transportation services along the Belarus-China route, services for the delivery of export-import cargoes in organized container trains. The company will also present its transportation and logistics infrastructure on the Silk Road route, provide information on the full range of logistics and other services. Meetings and negotiations with potential customers and partners will be held as part of the exhibition.
“Since 2016 Beltamozhservice has been actively developing projects within the Belt and Road initiative for the transportation of goods by rail as part of organized container trains, being simultaneously a consignee/consignor, co-operator and forwarder of container trains. In November 2022, Beltamozhservice was registered as a resident of the Chinese-Belarusian industrial park Great Stone,” the press service said.
Beltamozhservice was established by the State Customs Committee of Belarus.
