“The store is multi-brand: Comintern has given its space to Elema, Eliza and other leaders of the Belarusian light industry,” in the diplomatic mission said.
According to the press service, the agreement to bring the Belarusian factory with a 100-year history to Ufa was reached during the visit of the Bashkortostan head to Belarus in October 2022 and during the negotiations with Gomel Oblast Governor Ivan Krupko.
Comintern’s new collection was showcased during the ceremony. The Belarusian representatives discussed the capacity of the school uniform market in Bashkortostan and the prospects for Belarusian manufacturers there. “In case we localize our production in Bashkortostan we are promised big subsidies, while the conditions for starting a business here are one of the most liberal in Russia,” the embassy explained.
The Telegram-channel of the diplomatic mission published a video, in which Bashkortostan Head Radiy Khabirov was trying on clothes from Comintern. It is also known that Bashkortostan Prime Minister Andrei Nazarov wears suits of this Belarusian brand.
“This is a great example of how projects can be implemented quickly in modern conditions,” Radiy Khabirov shared his impressions from the opening ceremony in his Telegram channel. “Just a few months ago during our visit to Comintern we suggested opening a store in Bashkortostan. The project is great. And it is not the only one. We have opened a network of stores of Belarusian goods in Bashkortostan and they are in high demand among our residents. We have good examples of cooperation with Belarus in the manufacturing sector, and we will have more of them in the future.”
