MINSK, 20 February (BelTA) – The Belarusian antitank missile system Shershen was presented during an international expo in the United Arab Emirates, the press service of the State Defense Industries Committee of Belarus told BelTA.

The Belarusian antitank weapon system was put on display during the 13^th international armaments and military hardware expo IDEX 2017.

Apart from the antitank missile system Shershen the Belarusian section of the expo featured the latest defense technologies involving unmanned aerial vehicles, state-of-the-art radio location and radio warfare systems, mobility solutions for various kinds of weapons, including tracked and wheeled light-armored vehicles, capabilities of the Belarusian optics industry and the optic-electronic instrument-making industry.

The armaments and military hardware expo IDEX in Abu Dhabi gathers the largest defense contractors and customers from all over the world every two years. Over the course of several days visitors can see tanks, aircraft, self-propelled weapon systems, advanced weapons, and digital communication solutions as well as many other defense products.
