Belarus presents wide range of defense industry products at Army 2023 in Moscow

MOSCOW, 14 August (BelTA) - Belarus has presented a wide range of defense industry products at the Army 2023 International Military Forum in Moscow, Belarusian Defense Minister Viktor Khrenin said during the opening ceremony of the forum at the Patriot Convention and Exhibition Center near Moscow on 14 August, BelTA has learned.
"In the context of global instability and unprecedented pressure from the collective West on the states pursuing their own sovereign and independent policies, the Army Forum has become a symbol of strategic partnership," Viktor Khrenin stated. “At this platform we have the opportunity to demonstrate the scientific, technical, technological, industrial, and most importantly, defense potential. This large-scale international event allows us to jointly find ways to solve the most complex problems in the field of national, regional and global security, taking into account the interests of all subjects of international relations.”
The minister cited an example the defense capability of the Union State which is being strengthened thanks to mutually beneficial cooperation and integration processes between Belarusian and Russian defense industry enterprises. “I am pleased to note that a wide range of products of Belarusian defense enterprises is presented at the Army 2023 forum. I invite the distinguished participants and visitors of the forum to explore the Belarusian stands,” he said.
According to the Belarusian defense minister, the Army forum is one of the world's largest exhibitions of armaments and military equipment. The event traditionally features the latest achievements of the defense industry. “Participation of defense ministries and companies from different countries testifies to the significance of the event for strengthening interstate military and technical cooperation, joint construction and development of defense potential of the participating states,” he stressed.
Every year this large-scale exposition brings together the world's leading experts in innovative security developments. The event provides a unique opportunity to discuss professional issues, exchange accumulated experience, study the latest achievements in advanced technologies in the production and modernization of weapons, military and special equipment. Viktor Khrenin expressed confidence that the forum would serve the development of interstate military and technical cooperation, become a starting point for new business contacts, and make a significant contribution to a secure and peaceful future.
