Belarus’ Industry Ministry companies to sign $150m worth of contracts at Innoprom expo

MINSK, 4 July (BelTA) – Enterprises of the Industry Ministry of Belarus have plans to sign contracts worth more than $150 million at the International Industrial Fair Innoprom in Russia’s Yekaterinburg, Industry Minister Aleksandr Rogozhnik said, BelTA has learned.

This year, Belarus is participating in Innoprom as a partner country, and its total exposition area occupies more than 3,000 m2. “Taking part in the exhibition will be the country’s leading manufacturers of mechanical engineering products - MAZ, BelAZ, MTZ - and a number of other companies. Companies specializing in machine tools, microelectronics and other types of equipment will also be widely represented,” said Aleksandr Rogozhnik.

According to the minister, an unmanned tractor, a gas-powered and highly-localized BelAZ, as well as new solutions in machine tool industry will be showcased at Innoprom. “More than 50 enterprises of the Industry Ministry will take part in the exhibition. On the sidelines of Innoprom, enterprises of the Industry Ministry alone will sign contracts worth more than $150 million, and this work is underway,” the industry minister added.
