Belarus’ Industry Ministry companies sign 23 documents at Innoprom expo on 10-11 July

MINSK, 12 July (BelTA) – Enterprises of the Industry Ministry of Belarus signed 23 documents, including 14 agreements, 1 memorandum, 7 contracts and 1 treaty on the sidelines of the International Industrial Fair Innoprom in Yekaterinburg on 10-11 July, BelTA learned from the press service of the Industry Ministry.

The Industry Ministry of Belarus is represented by 45 enterprises at the expo. Six enterprises (MAZ, Belkommunmash, Amkodor, Gomselmash, MTZ, BelAZ) have their own stands where they display 21 full-scale models of equipment.

The united stand of machine-tool enterprises features 17 companies showcasing 13 full-scale models of machine tools (some of the machines are operating in the dry-run mode). The joint stand of enterprises of the Industry Ministry features 21 enterprises, including Mogilevliftmash, Kozlov Minsk Electrotechnical Plant, MMZ, BMZ, Integral, Vavilov MMZ, BATE and others.

During his visit to Yekaterinburg, Industry Minister Aleksandr Rogozhnik took part in a series of meetings and negotiations: the meeting between Belarus’ Prime Minister Roman Golovchenko and Sverdlovsk Oblast Governor Yevgeny Kuyvashev on 9 July, the meetings of Belarus’ Deputy Prime Minister Pyotr Parkhomchik with Russia’s Yaroslavl Oblast Deputy Governor Maksim Avdeyev, Chairman of the Board of the Industrial Cluster of Russia’s Republic of Tatarstan Sergei Mayorov, Russia’s Perm Territory Governor Dmitry Makhonin, senior representatives of the Russian Export Center, and Minister of Industrial Policy of Krasnodar Krai Dmitry Khmelko. The parties welcomed progress in joint work, identified promising avenues of cooperation and explored possibilities to implement joint projects.

The implementation of the Union State program to develop a common industrial policy, including the recognition of technological operations carried out in the Union State, as well as the protection of the markets of Belarus and Russia were discussed at the meeting with Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation Denis Manturov.

The negotiations with the leadership of a number of regions and large industrial enterprises of Russia will continue throughout 12 July.
