Belagro 2032 to feature 450 companies from 10 countries

MINSK, 31 May (BelTA) - This year, 450 companies from 10 countries will take part in the Belagro exhibition in Minsk, Belarusian Deputy Agriculture and Food Minister Vadim Shagoiko told a press conference, BelTA has learned.

"The Belagro exhibition will run from 6 to 11 June This year, we expect 450 companies from 10 countries: Belarus, Russia, China, Pakistan, Turkey, Germany, Vietnam, Italy, India and Palestine. A separate exposition will be presented by 14 Russian regions. The exhibition will span more than 28,000 square meters and will showcase more than 240 units of equipment. Large expositions will be run by the Belarusian agricultural engineering companies MTZ, MAZ, Gomselmash, Amkodor, Belagroservice, Bobruiskagromash, Minsk Motor Plant and a number of other large companies," Vadim Shagoiko said.

According to him, Belagro will also run specialist exhibitions Belfarm and Fishing Village.

"The Belproduct exhibition will cover the area of more than 1,200 square meters and feature 132 enterprises from all regions of Belarus. The exhibition will also be co-located with food fairs. Belarusian-grown fruits and vegetables will be presented by 12 enterprises, and fertilizers and plant protection agents - by 14 enterprises," Vadim Shagoiko informed.

The business program will be wide-ranging. "This year, Belagro will host about 20 thematic conferences and seminars to consider the whole range of issues of the agricultural industry. Emphasis will be placed on competitiveness of agricultural products, breeding sector, crop production, seed production, agricultural engineering, agricultural education and science, and cooperation with foreign countries," Vadim Shagoiko said.
