Belarus, Russia launch high-speed train service between Minsk, Moscow

A ceremony to launch high-speed passenger service between Minsk and Moscow took place at the railway station in Minsk on 30 April 2021. It is a joint project by Belarusian Railways and Russian Railways. Two pairs of the Russian Railways high-speed trains No.717/722 and No.721/718 Moscow-Minsk-Moscow will operate the new service. Travel time is less than seven hours. The trains departed on their maiden trips from Minsk and Moscow at 16.00 on 30 April.
