CEC opens its information center in Minsk

MINSK, 23 September (BelTA) - The information center of the Central Election Commission (CEC) of Belarus for the elections to the House of Representatives of the national Assembly of Belarus opened at the Palace of the Republic on the polling day, BelTA has learnt.

The center will inform on the voting process and preliminary results. It will operate on 23 September and the first half of 24 September, the CEC informed.

Over 300 Belarusian reporters have been accredited with the CEC Information Center. Temporary accreditation received more than 120 foreign journalists from Australia, Austria, the UK, Germany, Denmark, China, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Russia, the US, Finland, France, the Czech republic, Sweden, Ukraine, Japan and others.

The center provides all necessary working conditions: Internet, telephony including international communication lines.

The center will also host press conferences for CEC executives, experts and foreign observers.
