Lukashenko’s working visit to Russia continues, talks with Putin expected

MINSK, 27 June (BelTA) – The working visit of Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko to Russia is ongoing, Press Secretary of the Belarus President Natalya Eismont told RIA Novosti, BelTA has learned.

“The working visit of the president of Belarus to Russia continues. Talks with the president of Russia are scheduled for today, including in an expanded format,” the press secretary said.

Yesterday, the Belarusian head of the state arrived in Russia on a working visit. Aleksandr Lukashenko and Vladimir Putin held a private meeting in Valdai. The negotiation agenda included current issues of Belarus-Russia cooperation in various sectors and the implementation of joint projects. International affairs and the situation in the region were also in focus.
