Speed in implementation of plans seen as crucial for Belarus-China cooperation

Speed in implementation of plans seen as crucial for Belarus-China cooperation

MINSK, 4 December (BelTA) - Speed in the implementation of plans in terms of the development of bilateral cooperation is the only issue I would like to discuss, Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko said during talks with Chinese President Xi Jinping in Beijing, BelTA has learned.

"When I was preparing for this visit, I asked my colleagues [during a meeting with the senior officials of the government and the President Administration to discuss, among other things, the Belarusian-Chinese cooperation] about what more needs to be done, what things are not moving forward so that I could discuss these things in Beijing. We did not fine a single issue. Progress has been made across the board. The only issue that I would like to discuss with you today is speed," the head of state said.

"Time is very compressed today. This does not depend on us (maybe, fortunately, maybe, unfortunately). It is so compressed that sometimes we fall behind. It's not just China, Belarus... This is happening around in the world. The one who is the first to reach their goal will be at the top," Aleksandr Lukashenko added.
