MINSK, 30 September (BelTA) – Belarus is always open to all kinds of reasonable initiatives, Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko said as he accepted credentials from ambassadors of foreign countries on 30 September, BelTA has learned.

“I am sure that all of you sincerely respect the Belarusian people and their choice, which is needed for constructive work in our country. You should know that Belarus remains open to any sensible initiatives,” the head of state said.

“I am convinced that you will see an exceptionally friendly and businesslike attitude on the part of representatives of our government agencies, businesses, public associations,” the Belarusian leader added.

Aleksandr Lukashenko also welcomed the diplomats in the capital of Belarus, the hero city of Minsk. “The city is hospitable, beautiful and dynamically developing,” he noted.

The president recalled that this year in Belarus was declared the Year of Historical Memory. “The Belarusian people are very candid, friendly and hardworking. You will see how rich our land is, how many areas of mutually beneficial cooperation we can explore. I suggest you invest your best effort to strengthen cooperation between our states. We will be receptive to your constructive ideas, projects and proposals. We are ready to consider any of your points of view,” Aleksandr Lukashenko said.
