Ambassador: Belarus, Russia work on unified lists of extremist resources

MOSCOW, 6 February (BelTA) - Belarus and Russia are working on the unified lists of extremist organizations and extremist resources, Belarusian Ambassador to Russia Dmitry Krutoi told the media, BelTA has learned.

The idea has been discussed at the level of interior ministers of Belarus and Russia several times already, the ambassador said. “It raises questions among people when some resources, recognized as extremist, for example, in Russia, publish messages in our country, and vice versa – those, recognized as extremist in our country, publish messages in Russia. No criminal proceedings are initiated in the country where these organizations or people flee,” Dmitry Krutoi said.

“Of course, here we need more coordination of law enforcement agencies. I think this matter will be addressed in the near future,” the ambassador added.
