Second ticketing phase of 2014 IIHF World Championship kicks off

MINSK, 14 October (BelTA) - The second stage of the tickets sale program for the 2014 IIHF World Championship due in Minsk’s Minsk Arena and Chizhovka Arena from 9 to 25 May kicked off on 14 October, BelTA learnt from the Directorate for the World Championship. The following tickets have gone on sale: tickets for all preliminary round games at one of the two arenas (28 matches at each arena); final round tickets at Minsk Arena (six matches) and tickets for all Belarus’ preliminary round games (seven matches).

The tickets for all preliminary-round matches at Minsk Arena will range from Br1,960,000 to Br13,580,000, while at Chizhovka Arena from Br1,680,000 to Br11,760,000.

Tickets for the entire final round at Minsk Arena cost from Br1,980,000 to Br13,260,000.

Tickets for all Belarus’ matches at the preliminary round range from Br595,000 to Br3,815,000.

The cost of the tickets depends of the sector of the venue. Any fan in the world can buy tickets from all ticket offices of the official ticketing partner of the championship Ticketpro, on the website www.ticketpro.by and through dealer networks. All information on how to buy tickets in Belarus is available on the Ticketpro website in the section Points of Sale. Tickets can be also obtained via bank transfer.

Tickets from the first phase of the ticketing program, which kicked off on 30 September, are on sale, too. These are tickets for all matches at one of the arenas (34 matches at Minsk Arena and 30 matches at Chizhovka Arena). The most popular with Belarusian fans, however, is the ticket All Belarus’ Games Plus (for 11 matches). This ticket allows attending all matches featuring Belarus in the preliminary round along with a quarterfinal (No.4), a semifinal (No.2), a third-place match and a final, regardless of Belarus’ tournament progress. The price for such a ticket begins from Br2,090,000, while the most expensive tickets cost Br13,805,000.

Tickets for games of other national teams (for seven matches) will be sold starting from 28 October 2013. From 11 November matchday tickets at one of the arenas will go on sale (each ticket for two or three matches). Single game tickets including tickets for quarterfinals, semifinals and finals will be available from 25 November.

The 2014 IIHF World Championship ticket program envisages tour packages with game tickets included. The official travel partner of the 2014 IIHF World Championship in the Belarusian state-run company TsentrKurort. Apart from game tickets, tour packages will include accommodation, travel tickets for all types of transport in Minsk, transfers, sightseeing and other services.
